Office Manager – Seeking an experienced Office Manager

Clarkes Feed & Seed Ltd are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join the team and play a key role in ensuring smooth office and financial operations. If you have strong administrative, financial, and customer service skills, we want to hear from you!

From manufacturing premium stock feeds on-site to supplying brassica seed, pasture mixes, and certified seed, Clarkes’ support farmers and agribusinesses with top-tier solutions tailored to their needs. 

The Role:

As the Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of the business. Your role is essential in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and supporting the efficiency of the operational functions. 

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who can adapt to changing priorities and stay organised under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bank deposits, reconcile accounts, and manage fund transfers.
  • Manage all supplier invoices and customer sales orders. 
  • Handle account queries, debt control, and GST returns.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers. 
  • Assist the other office staff, covering as needed to ensure smooth operations for the office and door sales. 
  • Manage office administration, reporting, and database maintenance.
  • Provide guidance and support to office staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in office management, administration, and/or finance.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. 
  • Strong skills in MYOB, Ostendo or similar systems is desirable. 
  • Experience handling high volumes of invoices with high attention to detail. 
  • Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular advanced skills in Excel.
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure. 
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Willingness and ability to lift >25kg bags is preferred but not essential.
