BestStart Burnside is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and fully qualified Registered Teacher to step into the role of Head Teacher in our Nursery Room. About the Role
- Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
- Lead our Nursery Room with a strong focus on responsive care, authentic relationships, and respectful teaching
- Champion our centre’s values of respect, empowerment, and independence in everyday practice
What We’re Looking For
We are searching for a natural leader who shares our philosophy and has the passion to lead and inspire others. You’ll also bring:
- A Level 7 ECE Teaching qualification and current teacher certification
- Strong understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, and programme planning
- A sound knowledge of Te Whāriki and ECE regulations
- A commitment to delivering high-quality education and care
- A collaborative mindset and positive energy
