We are now seeking a Machine Operator to join our high-performing nightshift crew at the Remanufacturing Plant.

As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in transforming NZ radiata pine into precision, premium timber products. This hands-on, fast-paced position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, has a sharp eye for detail, and takes pride in contributing to a team that gets the job done right. 

This is a Monday–Thursday nightshift position, with a guaranteed minimum of four 10-hour shifts per week and overtime opportunities. We offer competitive pay, overtime rates for all hours worked beyond 40, and nightshift allowances linked to attendance.

Shifts start at 4:00pm. To ensure the nightshift team maintains a three-day weekend, overtime of up to 2 hours may be required at the end of each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cutline machines to maintain smooth production flow and efficiency
• Set up and adjust machine settings as required
• Carry out regular quality checks on timber products
• Load and unload timber through infeed and outfeed processes
• Maintain product quality through careful inspection and attention to detail
• Support improved recoveries through accurate machine operation
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with the team
