Shift: From Sunday to Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Enjoy your Saturday’s off)

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Shift Produce Supervisor to lead our nocturnal operations in Christchurch. You will oversee a dedicated team of 16 warehouse operatives, ensuring our fresh produce meets the highest standards before distribution. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Train: Manage, motivate, and  coordinate 16 night-shift team members, actively training them in outgoing quality control standards.
  • Outgoing Quality Control: Inspect outgoing produce orders for final freshness, grading, and premium presentation before dispatch.
  • Timely Packing: Monitor shift workflows to ensure all customer orders are packed accurately and efficiently to meet strict dispatch deadlines.
  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate forklifts to move and stack produce pallets.
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Safety First: Enforce warehouse health and safety protocols throughout the shift.

  

What We Are Looking For

  • Licenses: Current OSH Forklift Certificate and F Endorsement.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record managing teams of 10+ people and a passion for coaching/training staff.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience handling fresh produce or perishable food products.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to drive speed and efficiency in a high-pressure packing environment.
  • Night Owl: Comfortable working consistent, dedicated night shift hours.
