New Truck Processing Team Leader
An exciting opportunity has opened at our Wiri branch for a motivated, organised, and proactive Team Leader to join our New Truck Processing (NTP) team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can keep a small team on track. Experience in the Heavy Automotive or truck industry is desirable.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and organising a small team
- Ensuring trucks are delivered and picked up from our suppliers in a timely and efficient manner
- Completing e-filing and creating compliant paperwork through our Titan Software systems
- Liaising with internal and external departments to book in additional or COF-compliant work
- Communicating effectively and regularly with the Hamilton-based team
- Updating internal calendars and spreadsheets to keep the Sales team informed
- Grooming and washing trucks when required (mucking in when needed)
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum Class 4 driver’s licence
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and motivate a team
- Exceptional customer service, time management, and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliability and punctuality
- The ability to work independently to meet deadlines
