The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available at our Te Rapa, Hamilton branch for a reliable and energetic New Truck Groomer to join our New Truck Processing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for grooming and preparing new trucks for delivery, moving vehicles around the yard, between branches, and to customer sites. While experience in the heavy automotive industry is advantageous, it is not essential—full training will be provided.
Although a Class 2 licence is preferred, we are happy to consider applicants with a full Class 1 licence and support them to progress to at least a Class 2.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Physical fitness to carry out the duties of the role
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A strong work ethic and keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to take on varied tasks
- A positive, motivated attitude and tidy personal presentation
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence (with willingness to obtain Class 2)
