 Join our dedicated Community Infrastructure Group as a diligent Network Serviceperson in our Local Waters Team. You will be an integral part of our network team, reporting directly to the Network Supervisor. Your primary duties will include executing operations and maintenance tasks, as well as promptly responding to faults across all Horowhenua Local Water networks. This role involves participation in standby and call-out rosters, ensuring swift incident response when required. It serves as an ideal launching pad for a rewarding career in the Local Waters sector. 

He kōrero mōu - About you

We seek a self-motivated, energetic individual who is proactive and results-oriented, ready to contribute effectively to our team. Our ideal candidate for this role possesses Infrastructure Works Level 2 certification and/or Water Reticulation qualifications, or can demonstrate a solid foundation in the field. A valid driver’s license with a minimum of Class 1 is also required.  Traffic management training is highly desirable, along with confined spaces and hazard awareness certifications. Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in operating and inputting data into mobile field devices, is important. Experience in engaging with the public is valued, showcasing strong people skills.
