Our resource management planning team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced monitoring and enforcement officer to take the lead on making sure that our customers obligations under the district plan are being followed and state of the environment monitoring is being undertaken.

Our ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the RMA and experience in a compliance or enforcement based role. They will be adept at communicating to effect change and have the ability to utilise multiple channels to deliver key messages that educate and empower our customers. Whilst our goal is to work with our customers to ensure that everyone plays their part in working together for a better Southland we need someone who has the necessary experience to conduct robust investigations and undertake the legal processes that may result. Also on our wish list is someone who is technology savvy, has great interpretative, analytical and problem solving skills, is a team player and loves driving as they will spend a lot of time out in the district.
