Medication Support Worker - Part Time

MASH is a provider of community based residential and rehabilitation support services. We support a range of people with differing needs to live as independently as possible in the community.
If you are passionate about making a difference and helping others, this may be the role for you. Previous experience in not essential however preferred, life skills and transferable skill sets will support your application.
The Position:
Support Workers come from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, but all have one thing in common, the desire to enable others to develop resilience and move forward with their recovery.
We have a Part Time position available supporting people in the community to deliver and support them with there prescribed daily medication requirements.
Fortnightly hours for this position is: 36.5 hrs. per fortnight including every second weekend.
Mornings hours are between: 8.00am - 10.00am
Evenings hours are between 6.00pm - 9.00pm
Days and hours to be discussed in interview, there may also be an opportunity for additional casual hours for the right candidate.
The Skills:
- Passion for people, flexible approach, team player, good listener, self-motivated and good initiative
- Relevant experience or qualification is preferred
- You will have a current First Aid Certificate or a willingness to obtain one
- Eligible to work in NZ
- Full NZ driver’s license is essential
