About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Marketing and Digital Assistant to join our Marketing team, at Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) based at our Head Office in Tauranga. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll work alongside a collaborative and experienced team, helping bring marketing strategies to life across the business.

This is a highly hands-on, varied role where you’ll support marketing activity across digital, brand, branch and communications channels. You’ll play an important part in bringing campaigns and collateral to life, supporting day-to-day delivery and ensuring a consistently high standard of execution. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow their marketing career and gain broad exposure, practical experience in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting marketing campaign implementation, including content creation, scheduling and distribution across digital and traditional channels 
  • Managing marketing collateral requirements (updates, archiving, branch liaison, print coordination and nationwide distribution)
  • Developing and distributing corporate collateral in line with brand guidelines (e.g., company cards, calendars, stationery and templates) 
  • Supporting email marketing and newsletter delivery, including coordinating inputs and approvals 
  • Assisting with web, digital and social content (curation, repurposing, distribution and intranet support) 
  • Working with the Digital Manager on paid campaigns across Meta/Instagram/LinkedIn (asset creation, agency briefs, optimisation, tracking and reporting) 
  • Supporting branch/adviser requests including Canva asset creation and workflow tracking/reporting 
  • Supporting event coordination, including Eventbrite execution/optimisation, logistics, signage and on-site support as required 
  • Providing operational and administrative support to the marketing team (timelines, shared folders, task coordination, subscriptions and reconciliations)

About you

We are looking for candidates with relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience, and who are able to demonstrate the following: 

  • A degree in communications, journalism, marketing or business (or equivalent experience) 
  • 2–3 years’ experience working within a marketing team/function
  • Experience with social channel marketing (content creation and/or channel management) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proofreading and attention to detail 
  • Strong organisation and time management, able to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, with the ability to show initiative and work independently when required 
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) 
  • Familiarity with website CMS and digital marketing tools; HTML is advantageous 
  • An interest in financial markets is a strong asset
