Toyota New Zealand is on the lookout for a Marketing Specialist with a sharp eye, bold ideas, and the drive to make every campaign count!

We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who’s ready to take the wheel on campaign strategy and execution. You’ll be the go-to for bringing ideas to life, managing projects, and making sure every campaign hits the mark. You’ll work with a passionate team and trusted partners to deliver marketing that moves people.

This opportunity is permanent/full-time based on-site Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North.

What’s involved in the role:

  • Lead the planning, creative development, and execution of marketing campaigns that align with Toyota’s brand and business goals.
  • Develop campaign briefs and coordinate delivery across internal teams and external agencies.
  • Manage campaign budgets, forecasts, and financial documentation with accuracy and accountability.
  • Use customer and campaign data to identify insights, track performance, and inform future strategy.
  • Apply structured project management tools to keep campaigns on track and aligned with strategic priorities.

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing coordination or project management.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • Confident multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Have a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Balanced thinking that blends creativity with commercial awareness.
