Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

Are you a marketing all-rounder with a passion for collaboration, creativity, and making things happen? We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the delivery of high-impact campaigns and initiatives that inspire ākonga (students) and promote the Wintec brand.

Reporting to the Marketing and Campaign Lead, this role plays a key part in delivering our annual marketing strategy. You’ll help drive campaign execution, support digital marketing activity, and work with internal teams and suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a great opportunity for someone who loves variety, creativity, and values-based work in a fun, high-performing team.

The Marketing Specialist is based in our Marketing and Engagement team | Te Pūkenga, reporting to the Marketing and Campaign Lead, and will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Providing digital marketing support including Meta and Google Ads.
  • Championing the Wintec brand across all marketing channels and assets.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to support campaign execution.
  • Providing general and administrative support to help deliver an outstanding marketing function.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $65,000 and $75,000, dependent on skills and experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or business (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–3 years’ experience working in a marketing environment.
  • A strong understanding of digital platforms and consumer insights.
  • The ability to develop creative campaign messaging and translate it into engaging briefs.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
