In this key role, you'll oversee marketing operations, manage a talented team, and ensure exceptional results across various platforms. You'll drive all advertising campaigns, make critical decisions based on analytics, and develop efficient systems and processes. You'll also directly manage, optimize, and run campaigns yourself, in addition to overseeing your team's work. 

Your ability to provide strategic input and direction into marketing campaigns/activities along with an attention to detail to what the customer experiences will ensure key objectives are met. Your teamwork and collaboration skills will ensure you succeed. Reporting to the GM Operations, and working within a well-established and highly functional SLT, this role would suit a seasoned marketing practitioner with well-developed skills who can take our marketing activities to the next level. It is a ‘hands on’ role and needs someone who thrives in a collaborative and fast paced environment. Your evolved commercial and environmental awareness, and strong planning and delivery capabilities are what you will need to be successful in this role. 

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of three marketing professionals, including two in-house graphic designers.
  • Be prepared to “muck in and get on the tools” to achieve objectives when required.
  • Develop efficient systems and processes to support your team and the business.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Manage a budget within business expectations. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and execute a marketing and brand strategy plan.
  • Create and manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful campaigns & strategies.
  • Add value and insight to our CRM and Database marketing activities. 
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics. Ensure SEO, SEM are performing well.
  • Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications,      including internal/external- print, digital, and video assets.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events & document business      processes.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis. and optimize accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal teams along with external agencies, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs,      strategies, and budgets.

This is a full-time salaried role, typically working Monday-Friday; however, a degree of flexibility may be required on occasion.
