About the role

As a Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in planning, executing and optimising marketing campaigns across Skyline’s global portfolio, with a primary focus on our Canadian properties. The role will provide brand guideline support for development of Off-shore Skyline sites and new global product initiatives. Based at Skyline's Head Office in Queenstown, this full-time, on-site position and is central to delivering data-driven marketing initiatives that grow brand awareness, drive conversion and support business performance. The role sits within our Marketing Operations Team and will also support local New Zealand marketing campaigns and specific initiatives as required. 

Working closely with the NZ marketing team, regional teams, global brand partners, external agencies, creative suppliers and digital specialists, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across a range of channels. From campaign planning and content production through to paid media management, reporting and optimisation, you'll help ensure brand guidelines are executed to standards and Skyline continues to deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the marketing funnel.

The ideal candidate will have / be:

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' relevant marketing experience and a relevant Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 

Ideally, at least 3 years of this experience will have included: 

  • planning, developing and executing end-to-end marketing campaigns, including campaign briefs, rollout plans, stakeholder coordination and delivery management,
  • developing and managing campaign calendars across email marketing, paid search (PPC) and paid social media channels,
  • conducting campaign testing and optimisation, including audience targeting, performance analysis and campaign refinement,
  • measuring campaign performance and producing in-flight, post-campaign and retrospective reporting,
  • managing external agencies, vendors and third-party stakeholders,
  • managing digital campaign assets across web, email and social platforms, including tagging, proofing and reporting requirements,
  • experience managing marketing budgets, tracking expenditure and demonstrating return on investment,
  • a strong understanding of digital marketing, content development, paid media and campaign analytics,
  • excellent communication, stakeholder management and project coordination skills,
  • experience within the tourism, hospitality or visitor attractions industry is highly desirable,
  • some familiarity with the UK & Canadian markets is desirable.
