About the role:

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the team on a fixed term basis, supporting the Marketing Manager with a wide range of initiatives across campaign executions, digital and social media marketing, signage and operational support and project coordination. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, creative, and passionate about tourism, storytelling, and brand engagement. The role will require self-motivation, organisation and attention to detail.  You will be a confident communicator with strong administration experience and a can-do attitude.    

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with campaign execution and provide general project coordination across marketing initiatives 
  • Schedule, post and manage day-to-day social media content across platforms 
  • Coordinate media and content-creator famils, including background research, on-site hosting, and responding to PR and content enquiries 
  • Support the production of signage and on-site marketing collateral across the business 
  • Schedule eDMs, manage content on third-party listings and assist with website updates

The minimum requirements:  

  • 2+ years in a marketing coordinator or similar role (or equivalent demonstrated experience) 
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail 
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines 
  • A proactive, can-do approach and the ability to work autonomously within a team environment 
  • General office and administration experience 
  • A full and clean New Zealand Driver's License
