The role

At Toyota New Zealand customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. 

This exciting role will see you responsible for utilising marketing automation strategies within the customer journey; to plan, develop and implement automated communication campaigns and nurture streams that deliver personalised experiences to the right customer, at the right time in the right channel. Alongside this you will work cross functionally with marketing, sales, product and other internal departments to scope and deliver initiatives that drive acquisition, ownership and retention with appropriate communication strategies.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Determining the email communication strategy for each campaign including content, timing and call to action
  • Executing your campaign using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, building eDMs and journeys in collaboration with colleagues and agencies
  • Taking ownership of customer communications and the EDM strategy and providing coordination and guidance throughout each process to all stakeholders
  • Acting as the point of contact for all agency and stakeholder communications 

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong customer focus with a genuine interest in understanding the customer and their needs. Your proven experience in marketing automation will see you be able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the customer journey. Alongside this you will have:

  • 2 – 5 years marketing automation experience using a platform such as Sales Force Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Marketo, etc.
  • A good understanding of product and retail marketing for consumer and B2B audiences
  • Project management experience, able to follow, monitor and drive the delivery of a project from start to finish
