Our client has been supporting the rural and building markets throughout Australasia for more than 45 years.  Supplying building underlays, roofing netting and wire fencing products, they pride themselves on high quality products and exceptional customer service. Their team has a renewed focus on company growth, success and taking the business to the next level.  

They are looking for a Management Accountant to support the Bayonet Finance Team in providing quality customer service and accounting experience to both external and internal customers. 

The Role

This busy and varied role is a critical role in the ongoing success of this business. On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Lead the accounts payable and receivable processes and support with payroll 
  • Provide financial and administration support to the Sales Team
  • Provide timely and professional support to our customers and suppliers 
  • Process sales orders
  • Assist with regular sales and finance KPI reporting
  • Manage the company’s vehicles  

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Ideally have an Accounting or Business qualification 
  • Proven experience in an accounting position
  • Experienced with using MYOB – Exo Business and Intermediate Excel skills
  • A solid understanding of end-to-end accounting and transactional processes
  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service 
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • A can do, results focused attitude!
