Mō te tūnga | About the role:

Join our Maintenance team and help keep our Enliven villages and care homes safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. 

This hands-on role includes general repairs, preventative maintenance, contractor coordination, and responding to maintenance requests. We're looking for a practical problem-solver who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Experience in maintenance, building, or a related trade is preferred.

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general repairs, maintenance, and handyman tasks across our sites
  • Complete preventative maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests
  • Coordinate contractors and support site improvement projects
  • Maintain safe, compliant, and well-presented buildings and grounds
  • Take pride in delivering quality workmanship and reliable maintenance services

Ngā pūkenga | What you will need to be successful:

  • A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to tackle a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks
  • Experience in maintenance, building, or a related trade, with solid problem-solving skills
  • A Full New Zealand drivers licence
  • A strong commitment to health and safety and maintaining safe working environments
  • The ability to prioritise work, work independently, and reliably get the job done
  • A positive attitude and the ability to build great working relationships with residents, contractors, and colleagues
