Mō te tūnga | About the role:
Your role will be pivotal in keeping our facility running smoothly and looking its best. You’ll ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for everyone by managing both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks. A key part of your responsibilities includes performing regular checks and monitoring compliance in line with the Building Warrant of Fitness standards, so everything stays up to code and ready for use.

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our facilities to a high standard – buildings, grounds, equipment, including minor repairs and handyman tasks
  • Stay on top of maintenance schedules – handle planned work and respond quickly and promptly to urgent repairs
  • Keep everything safe and compliant – follow health, safety, and building standards
  • Collaborate and contribute as an effective team member

Ngā pūkenga | What you will need to be successful:

  • A practical problem-solver who can tackle repairs and maintenance
  • A full New Zealand drivers licence
  • A strong commitment to health and safety, making sure everyone stays safe
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail – able to prioritise and manage a busy workload while keeping accurate records of jobs, contractors, and compliance checks
  • Be the kind of person everyone loves working with—positive, helpful, and always ready to lend a hand
