Mō te tūnga | About the role:

Join our Maintenance Team in Gore, where you'll play a key role in the building and maintenance services as an integral part of the broader maintenance team, ensuring the upkeep of Resthaven - Gore. 

Seize this opportunity for a full time role with an on call roster component.

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities for the Maintenance position include, but are not limited to:

  • providing building and maintenance service for our properties in Gore
  • keeping accurate records of work completed and adhering to all compliance requirements such as the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
  • monitoring the Building Warrant of Fitness Compliance Manual checks including programmed and emergency maintenance
  • ensuring all work is carried out within agreed timeline and budget.

Ngā pūkenga | What you will need to be successful:

  • a full New Zealand drivers licence
  • previous experience in a similar role
  • understanding and commitment to ensure a safe and healthy workplace
  • ability to prioritise workload
  • ability to build strong working relationships both internally with residents and staff and externally with suppliers and contractors
  • trade Qualification preferred but not essential.
