  • Based at Cargill Lifecare in Invercargill, Southland.

Our Maintenance Coordinators are responsible for helping our residents enjoy a better every day. You will be responsible for the general maintenance of the care home including preventative maintenance measures, building repairs, maintaining the building exterior at the Care Home, and working with the Care Home Manager to ensure a high level of resident safety. We only want the best for our clients and are seeking a caring, empathetic professional. This is an opportunity to work in an environment where career pathways and positive work ethics are important.  

He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience 

  • Experience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry is preferred but not essential.
  • Be motivated with the ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills. 
  • Be physically fit, and organised and be able to coordinate your own work schedule and complete tasks without supervision. 
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work with others in a team environment and liaise with external suppliers. 
  • A full clean driver’s license.
