We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Loader Operator to join our small, supportive team. If you have experience in operating loaders we want to hear from you! Experience loading trucks is valuable but not essential. This role includes training to support the pellet plant operations, providing cover for the existing team and encouraging personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load wood chips and wood pellets for bulk distribution.
  • Operate loader machinery safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth plant operations.
  • Participate in training to support pellet plant operations and cover for team members as needed.
  • Assist with plant maintenance and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a loader operator.
  • Ability to work 45-50 hours per week, with overtime rates after 40 hours.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, permanent role based in Kennington, Invercargill.
  • Niagara is a drug-free workplace. Pre-employment drug screening is a requirement for employment.
