Surf Life Saving NZ Eastern Region - Lifeguard Supervisor – Tauranga

We are seeking a Supervisor to work with our other Supervisors, Head Regional Lifeguards and Regional Lifeguards across Tauranga. Supporting the Eastern Region Lifesaving Manager, this role is essential to ensure compliance and standards are maintained and SLSNZ's high standards are met day to day.

This is an interesting and busy role where you will travel regularly throughout the region visiting our patrolled locations from Mount Maunganui through to Papamoa East.  You will be responsible for rostering, patrol visits, constructive guidance and monitoring of all Lifeguarding policies. Health and Safety is key, and your organisational and planning skills will ensure all parties have what they need when they need it. We have a fantastic group of lifeguards, and this role’s core purpose is to ensure each beach is fully functional and operationally perfect.

This position is a fixed term, full time role (32-40 hours per week) from mid December to mid February. Some weekend & evening work may be required to meet the needs of the service.  Applicants must have their own transport as this role does not include a vehicle.
