Lecturer Veterinary Nursing
Are you a vet nurse with strong hands-on skills and a passion for education?
UCOL’s veterinary nursing team are seeking a suitably qualified professional to teach part-time on our highly acclaimed programmes at our Manawatū Campus in Palmerston North.
With a minimum of two years clinical experience and relevant qualification in veterinary nursing you will teach on the NZ Certificate in Animal Care L3 and practical classes for year 1 of the NZ Diploma in Veterinary Nursing programmes.
This is a part-time (22 hrs per week) fixed term position, ideally starting 6 July 2026 and ending 23 December 2026 covering staff leave.

Skills & Experience
Diploma in Vet Nursing Level 6, BVSc, BVTech or equivalent.
Preference for at least two years industry experience.
Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
An Adult Tertiary Teaching qualification and/or the NZ Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy
Education and/or unit 4098 workbased assessor or be working toward these
