A recently refreshed and innovative curriculum has been designed to provide education at undergraduate level to prepare nurses to lead person-centred and future orientated care across all areas of service delivery. Our teaching, research and professional development are aimed to deliver education and evidence based learning for the future.
The Team is seeking a future orientated, service user focused permanent, part-time (24 hours per week, 0.6 FTE) Nursing Lecturer to be based at the Whanganui Campus.

In the position you will actively contribute to the on-going development of nursing education within the tertiary environment including the implementation of innovative teaching practices such as the continued development of the digital learning environment.

Ideally you will have a completed (or be working towards) a Masters in Nursing or a related discipline, you will be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold/obtain a current Annual Practising Certificate.
The employment setting involves work with people across the lifespan and applicants will be required to comply with the requirements of the Children Act 2014 and the Children (Requirements for Safety Checks of Children's Workers) Regulations 2015.
