About the role | Mō te tūnga

As the Learning and Development Coordinator at Manaaki Tāngata - Victim Support, you will be supporting the smooth delivery of learning opportunities for our people across the organisation, for both online and in person learning opportunities. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing processes to streamline the way we do things here.

To excel in this role, you will have a strong can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be crucial as you engage with staff and suppliers. 

This is a permanent part time (20 hours) position based at our National Office in Wellington Central. We are open to flexibility on the way you spread those hours across the week. Joining our team will provide you with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both the lives of those in need, and your colleagues who directly support them.

  • Do you have proven experience in an administrative/ coordination position (approx. 3 years)?
  • Are you a people person with strong relationship management skills (internally & externally)?
  • Are you able to organise, streamline systems and see opportunities for improvement?
  • Do you have the ability to learn and adapt to new digital tools e.g. Learning Management System, basic learning design software?


Please note that:

  • Some knowledge of adult learning principles is preferred but not expected.
  • You will be required to undergo pre-employment vetting by the NZ Police. 
  • Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
