For over 30 years, Visionwest Home Healthcare has been providing quality Home Healthcare and Individualised funding services for older adults and people living with disabilities with a team of over 1,300 support workers spread throughout the different regions.

Mō te tūnga | About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused  Lead Weekend Coordinator to join our Home Healthcare team in Hamilton. In this permanent part-time role, you’ll lead a dedicated team of Coordinators and Administrators who support our network of Support Workers, delivering essential in-home care to older adults and people with disabilities. This is a key leadership role where you’ll ensure efficient coordination, team support, and service continuity during weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alternate weekends (Saturday & Sunday) with some flexibility.
  • Set working hours: On call from 6 am - before the shift, and until 9 pm after the shift.
  • Oversee effective rostering and placement processes for Support Workers
  • Provide strategic input into scheduling and recruitment planning
  • Deliver strong leadership, coaching, and support to weekend staff
  • Ensure coordination services are responsive and aligned with service needs
  • Promote a strong Health and Safety culture, supporting the organisation’s H&S Management System
