With over 1,300 support workers spread throughout offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Rotorua, we work throughout West Auckland, North Auckland and North Shore, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and the Rotorua Lakes district / Taupō regions.

Mō te tūnga | About the role  

Based in our new Hamilton office, you will help ensure that our Home Healthcare service delivers a high standard of care for our clients. This is done by leading a team of well-trained Care Mangers who develop and oversee individual service plans. You will be well supported in this role, as we are a fun and caring team of Nurses, Care Placement Coordinators, Support Workers and other staff, who all share in the passion of supporting our communities.  Responsibilities will include;

  • Leading a team of 6 Nurses, including recruitment, supervision and coaching.
  • Providing comprehensive assessments for clients & collaboratively developing individual service plans.
  • Assisting with learning, development & training of Support Workers and Nurses.
  • Investigating of issues and suggesting service improvements.
  • Facilitating and monitoring the provision of safe and effective nursing practice.
  • Undertaking administration tasks related to the role.

Mōu | About you 

  • Must be a NZ Registered Nurse.
  • Current annual practicing certificate with a full class 1 drivers license. 
  • Experience in leading a team in home healthcare or aged care.
  • Understanding of relevant Health & Safety and Employment legislation and is able to apply the requirements. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and problem solving skills. 
  • Empathetic, good listening skills and works inclusively.
  • Competency with MSWord, Teams, Excel and Outlook.
