Late Shift picking and packing
We are looking for a suitable people to join our team at Bidfood Invercargill in the position of Nightshift Picker/Packer. This is a Sunday to Thursday role. Hours of work vary on certain days but this position is a 3.30pm Start with a 1.30am finish.* (Some statutory days are required to be worked)
The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately pick orders and load onto trucks for delivery to our customers. We require specific focus on the following areas,
- Timely and accurate picking of customer orders
- Efficient and safe loading of our delivery vehicles
- Attention to detail - no short cuts
- Great communication skills including written and verbal
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
Please make no mistake this is a physical job requiring urgency accompanied with accuracy.
This position requires individuals to be physically fit and healthy as there is frequent lifting of 25kg involved. Also working in a temperature controlled environment at temperatures of -25 degrees is also a requirement.
