Knitting machine operators
Acrux Wool Systems Ltd as the home of the Acrux and Wild South brands, are looking for a capable person to join our team operating our bank of knitting machines within our centrally located factory. This is a position for existing experienced operators or someone with the right aptitudes and foresight to grasp an opportunity and learn a valuable skill within great working conditions. The shift is from mid afternoon through to midnight, currently Monday to Friday however dependent on incoming skills there will be a training process initially undertaken during the day shift until committing to the later shift. Either looking for a change as a current knitting machine operator or an opportunist seeking to upskill in a new direction this position is worthy of consideration.
Skills & Experience
The applicant, skilled or trainee, will need to prove a high degree of integrity and work ethic with a focus on processes, quality and efficiency. A good command of written and spoken English is a must alongside a clean record. There is a high reliance on the operator being able to self manage towards the set goals although not without excellent support in the background. Applicants must be currently entitled to work in New Zealand.
