Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Kitchen hand, you will be responsible for assisting the Food Services Team Leader to prepare and serve tasty and nutritious meals for lunch and dinner. Confidence in the kitchen with meal preparation is important along with the following:
As there will be a requirement to carry out meal preparation, some flexibility regarding daily duties will be expected to meet the needs of the kitchen.
Hours for this role are in the morning working 6:00am to 14.00pm Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. There is a possibility of additional hours at times to cover leave and so flexibility and willingness to help at these times is always appreciated!
