Mō te tūnga | About the role:

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hands to join our team across various locations within our organisation Whether you're seeking a casual role or a part-time position, we have multiple vacancies to suit your availability. 

Our casual roles will require flexibility to work shifts between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM, 7 days a week and are based at Peacehaven Village, while our part-time role operates on a rotating roster with 4 days on and 4 days off, working from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and is based at Walmsley House. 

You will join our busy kitchen team, where you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of the the kitchen, you will assist with food preparation, cleaning, dish washing and maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene.  

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities: 

As our kitchen hand or kitchen assistant you will be responsible for:

  • dishes
  • the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
  • meal service
  • work closely with and support your colleagues and head chef in the kitchen
