 Mō te tūnga | About the role:In this role, you'll support food preparation, meal service, kitchen cleaning, and food safety standards while helping create a positive dining experience for our residents. We are recruiting for two Kitchen Assistant opportunities:

  • Casual at Peacehaven Village, working as required (primarily 9.30am to 6.00pm)
  • Permanent Part-Time at Vickery Court, working 8.30am to 1.30pm

Our kitchens operate seven days a week, so flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays is important. 

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with food preparation and meal service for residents
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
  • Support kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and general kitchen duties
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • Treat residents, visitors, and team members with kindness, respect, and professionalism.
