Heritage Lifecare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent, part time Kitchen Assistant, to join our team at Rosewood Lifecare in Christchurch. You will be involved in the kitchen duties at the modern and vibrant care home, while working within a welcoming and supportive multiskilled team.  

  • Attractive hourly rate
  • Permanent Part Time
  • AM, PM and weekend shifts available

As a vital member of the team, your duties will include:

  • Helping to provide and support residents with their meals
  • Cleaning of common areas and ensuring residents are living in a clean and safe environment
  • Laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, ironing and delivery of clothing and linen
  • Cleaning of bathrooms, spills, and clearing rubbish

He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience 

  • A can-do attitude and drive to complete tasks to a high standard
  • Previous experience within a Laundry, Kitchen Assistant, and/or cleaning would be preferred but not essential
  • Ability to learn new systems and skills quickly
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-skilled environment where we strive to achieve goals and deliverables
