 The Kaupapa Māori Outreach & Engagement Coordinator is a lived-experience role that supports tangata whaiora and whānau in rural communities to access Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) support. Using kaupapa Māori approaches, the role focuses on outreach, engagement, and relationship-building, particularly for those who face barriers to traditional services.

The role coordinates and leads wānanga and community-based activities that strengthen connection, learning, and recovery, while supporting whānau to navigate pathways into AOD services. Working alongside clinical and kaupapa teams, the Coordinator helps ensure services are culturally safe, accessible, and responsive to rural realities.

This is a 12 month fixed term position.  

FTE: 0.5 (20 hours per week)
