Based in beautiful Whanganui Te Oranganui is a kaupapa Māori organisation who offers a range of health and wellbeing services for whānau in the Whanganui region and surrounding districts.
Waiora Hinengaro provide mental health & addiction services to support tāngata whai ora in their journey back to health and wellbeing, which is also underpinned in the belief that people can find their own strengths to live the life the way they want, utilising whānau as key contributors.
Waiora Hiinngaro have a number of support services that support a full spectrum of tāngata whai ora such as:
- Rangatahi / Tamariki
- Te Whare Mahana
- Whakahaumanu Mana Tane
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated team member to design and deliver collective day activities and vocational programmes that support tangata whai ora in their recovery and wellness journey. Guided by Tikanga Māori and whānau ora values, you will create safe spaces for learning, engagement, and participation. The role includes supporting individual goals, monitoring and reporting wellbeing changes, encouraging community involvement, and applying knowledge of co-existing problems to ensure holistic care. You may also administer medication safely, maintain a clean and organised facility, and use equipment responsibly to provide a supportive environment.
