We are now seeking a passionate and committed Kaiārahi Māori to join our Adult AOD Residential team based in New Windsor. This is a permanent, full-time role supporting the wellbeing and recovery of tāngata whai ora within our residential and community programmes.
As Kaiārahi Māori, you will play an important role in strengthening the cultural foundations of our service. Working alongside one of our Adult Services Clinical Managers and the wider team, you will lead and support cultural activities, practices and programmes that reflect te ao Māori and contribute to a culturally safe and welcoming environment.
You will also support our kaimahi (staff) to build confidence in culturally responsive practice so that tāngata whai ora feel respected, supported and connected throughout their recovery journey.
