Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for our next Junior New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team.

You'll gain exposure to all aspects of the New Vehicle Sales department, learning from experienced professionals while developing the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in automotive sales. This role focuses on building strong foundations and offers genuine opportunities for growth and progression within the company.  While this is not initially a direct sales role, it is an important stepping stone that offers genuine career progression for the right person. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing sales and fleet administration support, including document processing.
  • Ensuring New Vehicle advertisements, photography, and marketing content are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintaining the presentation and display standards of our New Vehicle yard.
  • Preparing and presenting direct-delivery vehicles to customers.
  • Assisting with vehicle deliveries when required.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle data records.
  • Supporting the wider sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn.

You will ideally have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence using multiple online systems.
  • A self-motivated attitude with the initiative to get things done.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Customer service experience within a sales environment or similar.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • A full driver’s licence (ability to drive a manual vehicle is preferred, but not essential).
  • Flexibility to work on a 7-day rotating roster.
  • Current New Zealand residency / citizenship or valid full working rights (required).
