The Opportunity:

You'll join a supportive Finance Team and work closely with senior leaders, including two Chartered Accountant Directors, gaining exposure to real-world commercial accounting and business operations. Starting with core accounts receivable responsibilities, you'll build a strong understanding of financial processes while developing valuable skills that can open doors to broader accounting and finance opportunities in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Begin with core accounts receivable processes, including debtor management and payment allocation 
  • Learn how to manage and reconcile customer accounts accurately and confidently 
  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances in a professional and supportive way 
  • Assist with account reconciliations and resolving queries 
  • Gain exposure to month-end processes and wider finance team activities 
  • Maintain accurate financial and customer records 
  • Provide general support to the Finance Team as your experience develops 

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn 
  • Confident communication skills, especially over the phone 
  • A positive, proactive attitude and curiosity about how businesses work 
  • Good organisation and time management skills 
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills 
  • An interest in building a career in accounting or finance (formal experience not essential)
