Based in Kennington, Invercargill, Niagara operates large-scale, integrated sawmilling, remanufacturing, and value-added manufacturing operations, employing hundreds of people across multiple sites.

As part of the wider K G Richardson Group, Niagara sits within a diverse portfolio of manufacturing, forestry, transport, and property businesses. This scale and integration create a complex, fast-paced industrial environment where reliability, safety, and continuous improvement are critical to success.

KGR and Niagara are known for being hands-on, practical, and people-focused. • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with legislation, standards, and site procedures
  • Working closely with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to support operational performance

This is a hands-on role offering variety, technical challenge, and the chance to work with modern industrial equipment in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with PLCs, VSDs, motors, and industrial control systems
