Hydraulic Service Technician
Due to continued growth, we seek an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team to service and repair specialised hydraulic equipment. We design, manufacture, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems for various industries, including Marine, Transport, Agricultural, and Industrial, making the work varied and interesting.
The work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some overtime may be needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair hydraulic equipment.
- Operate machinery, use tools, and measure devices accurately.
- Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and solve problems.
- Adhere to H&S at Work best practices.
The ideal applicant should have:
- Trade/field services experience in mechanical fitting, with a hydraulics background, is a significant advantage.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, actuators, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic fluid, high-pressure equipment, or similar is essential. Experience with truck-mounted cranes is also an advantage.
- Good numeracy, verbal, and written skills.
- A strong work ethic, pride in work, and drive to learn new skills.
- Desire to be a team player in a fast-paced work environment.
- A clean and full NZ Driver's Licence.
- Physical fitness, as some heavy lifting is involved.
