We now have a vacancy for an experienced Housing Coordinator in our Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Court (AODTC) team. Based at our community hub in New Lynn, this non-clinical position operates Monday to Friday and primarily requires you to support our participants to obtain and maintain suitable accommodation as well as other programme support duties as required.

We are partnered with Higher Ground and The Salvation Army to provide addiction treatment services to the Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Court (AODTC) pilot based in the Auckland and Waitakere District Courts. The AODTC aims to reduce offending by addressing participants’ alcohol and other drug related issues.

You will ideally have:

  • An understanding of housing and tenancy agreements
  • The ability to build a strong network of community housing providers
  • Communication skills and an ability to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management & organisation skills
  • An understanding of the needs of people in recovery (experience or familiarity with the challenges of alcohol or other drug issues is preferred)
  • A full, clean NZ driver’s licence

In return we offer:

  • $60,174 to $67,828 salary per annum (depending on your relevant qualifications and experience)
  • $2000 annual location allowance on top of salary and a weekly meal allowance
  • 22 days annual leave, 5 days paid study leave per annum
