The Langlands Hotel is a brand new 4.5 star, 78 room hotel in the heart of Invercargill, due to open early next year. The rooms will exude luxury and the five quality food and beverage offerings will be current and sophisticated.

You will maintain the smooth and efficient day to day operations of the housekeeping department, so as to ensure maximum guest comfort and satisfaction and ensure rooms are clean and sparkling at all times 

Applicants will demonstrate the following attributes:

• In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods and operation of housekeeping equipment

• Experience of leading and coaching others

• A professional appearance with a positive attitude adaptability and flexibility

• Effective time management skills with the ability to retain immaculate attention to detail.

• Comprehensive knowledge of safety and hygiene practices and regulations

• Proven commitment to providing a high standard of care and customer service when interacting with house guests

• History of being able to work independently towards task completion and achievement of quality standards

• Personal reputation as an individual of high ethical standards

• Community focused with a passion for people and the community
