We are located in the subtropical city of Whangarei, which is an exciting place to work and live. You can escape the hustle and bustle whilst being in close proximity to Auckland. It is an attractive lifestyle with beautiful beaches close by, lovely parks and gardens, few traffic woes, affordable housing, and many great amenities - including cafes and schools. Why would you want to work anywhere else?

The Opportunity

Our Household Assistants work 8am to 12pm on a 4 on 2 off roster.  The role is responsible for helping to provide support for our residents at Puriri Court Lifecare. We only want the best for our clients, which is why we are seeking a reliable, helpful professional. This is an opportunity to work in an environment where we value career pathways and positive work ethics.

What does your day look like?

You start your day by getting our residents their breakfast and then you move into helping straighten up their room.  You might then water the plants and put their laundry away.  Morning tea time sees you making drinks and distributing some of our freshly baked items from the kitchen before returning to room straightening before supporting with lunch - then home time!

  • Willingness to engage with our residents
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
