Heavy Vehicle Operator - Driver

 New Zealand’s largest independent dairy processor and exporter of premium whole milk powder, Open Country Dairy, is looking for professional truck drivers who take pride in their gear to join the incredible team at Southern Milk Transport. Based in Tauriko on the Open Country site, our immaculate fleet and professional team ensure our products are transported safely, and efficiently from farms all around New Zealand.     

 

The incredible team at Southern Milk Transport is expanding, opening multiple opportunities to join the team. They are looking for class 5 truck drivers who take pride in transporting goods safely and efficiently from suppliers through to the factory. 

This is a full-time permanent role with rostered shift work 3 days, 3 nights and 3 off. 

 Responsibilities:

• Operating heavy commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
• Effective communication with our farmer suppliers
• Contributing to our positive team culture
• Following all health and safety procedures

What you need to succeed: 

• A current, clean class 5 licence
• At least six months truck and trailer experience 
• A demonstrated commitment to health and safety best practice
• A high level of motivation and professionalism
