About the Role

As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for delivering strategic and operational Health and Safety [HnS] initiatives. You will work across all levels of the organisation from CEO and Senior Leadership through to our frontline kaimahi. You will work closely with our HnS Committee, HnS reps and our Team Managers to drive workforce initiatives , enhancing management capability and drive Health and Safety excellence across our wide range of health and social services and various sites and locations. 

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, collaborative, and ready to hit the ground running.
You will already be an experienced HnS Manager with a solid foundation in HS practices, legislation and compliance. 

You will bring both expertise and heart and be willing to uphold our values and be committed to working in a Kaupapa Māori environment.
A relevant HnS qualification and understanding of the Health and Social Services sector and CIMS experience is an advantage.
