At Stabicraft, we’re proud of what we build, bold in how we think, and strongest when we work together. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in strengthening a positive culture where safety comes first – always!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants more than just compliance. Someone who wants to build relationships, guide the team and be genuinely proud of the impact they make every day.

The role

As our Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll provide trusted guidance and practical support to leaders and teams across the business. You’ll be a visible role model for best‑practice health and safety, helping to embed a culture where everyone looks out for one another and takes ownership.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and frontline leaders, you will:

  • Champion a culture where safety comes first, supporting our people to go home safe and well every day.
  • Review, update and implement health and safety systems and procedures, ensuring they are practical, effective and easy to use.
  • Lead incident and risk management processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in health and safety performance, building confidence to challenge unsafe acts and behaviours.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to identify health and safety training needs across the organisation.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to confidently deliver strong, operational health and safety practices.

About you

You’re passionate about people, and comfortable working alongside teams at all levels of the organisation. You bring a practical, solutions‑focused mindset and know how to turn complex requirements into simple, meaningful actions.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a Health and Safety Advisor role, preferably within a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • A sound understanding of New Zealand health and safety legislation and requirements (a formal H&S qualification is an advantage).
  • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills, with the ability to positively influence others.
  • A knack for simplifying complex information so systems and processes are clear, accessible and effective.

If you’re looking for a role where you can truly make your mark and be part of something special, we’d love to hear from you.
