About the role:
The Health, Safety and Compliance Business Partner will play a key part in ensuring our workplace is safe, compliant with relevant regulations, and promoting a culture of health and safety across the organisation.
Specifically, the functions of this position is to support the Quality Manager and advise on safety regulations, conducts audits, develop policies, deliver training, and ensures compliance with legal standards to create a safe work environment.
This will require the Health, Safety and Compliance Business Partners to work proactively with managers, staff, Ministries, auditors, Health and Safety Representatives and Committees, unions, and others to embed a health, safety, security, and well-being culture throughout the organisation and into all operational activities. Support the Quality Manager to develop and deliver action plans and training that embed the Quality Framework and Health & Safety services across MASH, ensuring they' re fully integrated into all Trust activities and outcome demonstrated commitment to the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te reo Māori.
About You:
You are a health and safety and/or compliance subject matter expert who takes pride in your work and in making a difference. You achieve this by establishing effective relationships based on trust and respect - you see your role as an enabler. You are effective operating at the operation sharp end of the organisation, and you are capable of tailoring your written and verbal communications whoever the audience may be.
