Health Care Assistant - 3 Positions available - New Plymouth Chalmers Home
Mō mātou - About us
Enliven provides aged residential care to older people in the lower half of the North Island. We believe our elders should remain connected to their community and live stimulating and fulfilling lives. All our Homes embrace an elder-directed model of care called the Eden Alternative. Enliven operates as part of Presbyterian Support Central (PSC), a not-for-profit organisation and a charity incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957. While we operate as a separate entity to the Presbyterian Church, our name, Enliven, celebrates our beginnings, heritage, and shared values, and we have been delivering a variety of community-based services for over 100 years, proudly supporting people with our extensive experience.
Overlooking the Tasman Sea to the west and Mount Taranaki to the East, Chalmers Home has arguably one of the best rest home outlooks in the country. At Chalmers Home we embrace Enliven's philosophy of care. That means we take every opportunity to make sure our Elders have companionship, spontaneity, fun, meaningful activity and a sense of purpose in their life here.
