Northern Bays Motors has proudly been serving Auckland’s North Shore and Western regions for over 30 years. With almost 200 staff, our brands include Toyota, Lexus, and Bridgestone across five different dealerships.
We are going through an exciting phase of growth, and are looking for a creative yet organised Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator. Based in Wairau on the North Shore, you will;
· Manage the Health & Safety program from coordinating meetings to investigating workplace incidents, reporting and identifying opportunities for improvement.
· Ensuring our dealership maintains its Envior-mark certification
· Develop and maintain an audit register to ensure the company remains compliant on various regulatory requirements
· Coordinate and manage the facilities maintenance schedules, including security, resource management, equipment management, etc.
To be successful in this position, you will need to enjoy developing efficient systems and processes, be a multi-tasker capable of juggling numerous activities at the same time while dealing with different people’s demands. You have excellent time management skills and thrive on solving problems with the end goal in mind. A thorough knowledge and understanding of the health & safety laws, with at least 2+ years’ experience, you will need to be able to translate the legal language into plain language while ensuring the Company is compliant with all necessary governmental, Toyota New Zealand, WorkSafe, Enviro-Mark and other regulatory requirements.
